Run if someone says one of these three things in church!
Not every message spoken in church is from God. Some words sound holy but are actually dangerous. If you hear these, run!
1. “Just follow your heart.”
Sounds nice, right? But the Bible says, “The heart is deceitful above all things.” (Jeremiah 17:9) Don’t follow your feelings—follow God’s truth.
2. “God just wants you to be happy.”
Yes, God loves you, but His goal isn’t just your happiness—it’s your holiness. Sometimes, that means going through trials to grow in faith.
3. “All roads lead to God.”
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6) There’s only one way—Christ.
Be discerning. Not every voice in church speaks truth.
