“Love thy neighbor as yourself and do unto others what you want done to you.” Seems easier said than done, isn’t it? Can we really love and serve others the way God commands us in His Word? The Good Samaritan in Jesus’ parable did what most people would think is impossible. He had all the reasons to be indifferent and act in bitterness but he did the exact opposite. Jesus wants us to display love and mercy in action, saying “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."”
