At the Zamboanga seafront, Manuel desperately sought a ticket to return home to his dying mother. When he found all tickets sold out, he broke down in anguish. Witnessing this, another passenger, Cesar Colanggo, who was traveling with his son Arnel, approached Manuel and offered his own ticket, recognizing Manuel's greater need. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Manuel vowed to repay Cesar's kindness someday.

Years passed, and Manuel became a successful lawyer, while Arnel began working as a driver for a car rental business. Fate brought them together when Attorney Manuel hired Arnel to drive him from Butuan to Zamboanga. Coincidentally, Arnel was also headed to Zamboanga to visit his father.
During their journey, Arnel observed Attorney Manuel's compassionate nature, noting how he consistently helped people they encountered along the way. When asked about this, Attorney Manuel explained that whenever he assisted others, he believed God reciprocated with blessings. He advised Arnel that true joy comes from giving.

Upon reaching Zamboanga, Attorney Manuel directed Arnel to a hospital. To Arnel's surprise, the patient they visited was his father, Cesar Colanggo. As Cesar recovered, Arnel learned that Attorney Manuel had paid the entire hospital bill. This act of generosity was Manuel's way of repaying Cesar for the ferry ticket he had given him years ago, bringing their story full circle.
