Before I talk to the world, I need to talk to Him.
Jesus Himself modeled this:
“Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” — Mark 1:35, NKJV
If the Son of God needed to begin His day in prayer, how much more do we?
My morning prayer resets my compass. It silences my selfish ambitions and tunes my ears to Heaven. It’s where I surrender my plans and say, “Yahweh, Your will be done.”
Because let’s be honest: left to myself, I’m a wreck. But in Him, I find direction.
