Topic: Do I value Christ as my Shepherd so much that I know His voice and follow His will? (13 May 2025 - Only By Grace Reflections)
First Reading: Acts 11: 19-26
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 87: 1b-3, 4-5, 6-7
Alleluia: John 10: 27
Gospel: John 10: 22-30
There are many moments in our life when we struggle to listen to the Lord our God, and even more so in following His will. This is due to many distractions around and within us, the many voices that confuse us, making us doubt which one is really our Lord Jesus Christ’s.
At times, the real challenges come from within us. We struggle with identifying our priorities, what we value in life, how we choose to spend our time, including our commitment to spending time listening to God, which will actually help us grow more familiar with His voice.
And so, our Lord Jesus Christ reminds us to aim to know Him more as our Shepherd, so that we can be more familiar with His voice and be able to live according to His will.
