The Blessed Virgin Mary, humble and quiet, doesn’t get a ton of screen time in the Bible. But over the years, the Church has grown to understand just how important her role really is. One title that stands out is “Mother of the Church.” And in 2018, the late Pope Francis officially added that title to the Church calendar!

We now celebrate Mare as the Mother of the Church every Monday after Pentecost. She is not just some distant saint, she’s our spiritual mother. She loves us, prays for us, and always leads us closer to Jesus.
