THE LANGUAGE OF COMMUNION | The Word Exposed with Cardinal Tagle (June 8, 2025) with Sign Language

Today is Pentecost Sunday. We are celebrating the coming of the Holy Spirit, thanks to Jesus who prayed to the Father to send the spirit of truth.

When the Risen Lord visited his disciples in the upper room, he greeted them with peace and breathed on the Holy Spirit—so that whose sins they forgive are forgiven, and whose sins they retain are retained.

The Holy Spirit then makes possible our reconciliation with God. The Holy Spirit is our advocate who is with us always. He is our teacher, reminding us of everything that the Lord taught.

Friends, in whatever situation we find ourselves in, let us seek the Holy Spirit.

When our anxieties are weighing us down, let us seek the consolation and peace, which the Holy Spirit gives.

When we are confused and lost, let us seek the patience and hope in the Holy Spirit who is the love of the Father and Son poured in our hearts.

When there are disagreements and division let the Holy Spirit speak to us of communion.
