In today’s Gospel, our Lord Jesus Christ continues to make His caring presence felt by those around him and those who follow him, hoping that they can experience or receive whatever they are all waiting for, including protection, healing for their sickness, and a proof and experience of God’s power.

And all those around Him, all those who came near Him, have experienced His power. He was more than generous to supply all their needs, beyond ways that we could ever think of. Some have questioned Him and falter in focus, and some just needed a small gesture of expression of their faith, but nonetheless, they experienced His power, because they believed, and He cared.
