TOPIC: DO I TRUST THAT GOD IS ALWAYS WITH ME EVEN IF I FEEL LOST?

First Reading: Isaiah 40: 1-11
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 96: 1-2, 3 and 10ac, 11-12, 13
Gospel: Matthew 18: 12-14

We all go through times of being “lost”—not knowing what to do, finding direction in life, questioning things, looking for solutions for life’s problems, and sometimes, even doubting the faith. We may even wonder if God really hears our prayer or if He actually exists. But in every moment, whether we feel we are lost or not, God is always with us. We are never out of God’s sight; He always accompanies us in every part of our journey.

St. Padre Pio reminded us, “In darkness, at times of tribulation and distress of the spirit, Jesus is with you.” Let us rest assured that God is always with us. He is God who is accountable for His flock, each one is important, and He journeys with us. We may go astray, but God will always lead us back.

This is the 1689th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Lawrence Quintero, a member of the CFC International Council, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
