Many have the notion that God is a laidback, relax God and not doing much. God with His immense power has much free time in His hands and He has the host of angels doing His bidding. He spends most of His time in leisure and relaxation.

Consequently, many have the notion that heaven is an idyllic, leisurely place – a place of rest, freedom, relaxation, idleness, and play. An ideal place to hang the gloves, frolic around, play the harp and dance, sing for all eternity. Many consider paradise as a retirement home for the saints.
