Today's reading from Joshua 5 teaches that children look up to the principles parents stand for and will eventually walk in them. This is why it's important for parents to have an established relationship with God, know His character, and be in complete obedience to His will so that the next generation will live a righteous lifestyle, pleasing the Lord.
