TOPIC: WHY PRAY THROUGH MARY WHEN WE CAN PRAY DIRECTLY TO GOD?

First Reading: Zechariah 2: 14-17 or Revelation 11: 19a; 12: 1-6a, 10ab
Responsorial Psalm: Judith 13: 18bcde, 19
Gospel: Luke 1: 26-38 or Luke 1: 39-47

For those of us going through pains, sorrows, sickness, insufficiencies, and difficulties in life ⏤ when wine seems to be running out in life, we plead through every bead of the rosary: "Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us". And there, every time, Mary like a good mother bends to every child--for she cannot put us to shame, intercedes, and comforts us ⏤ "Tahan na, anak. Andito na si Nanay." (Don't cry, my child. Mama's here.)

This is the 1691st installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Robert Ardiente, a member of the CFC Servants of the Lord International Core, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
