When we get hurt by the actuations and words of someone, we can become bitter and resentful of them. And this can exist for years on end. We cannot be bitter and grateful to God at the same time. We cannot become holy unless we weed out the bitterness in our heart and let the grace of God take root to enable us to forgive.
This is the 1030th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
