Topic: Do I often pray with my family and attend household prayer meetings? (1 June 2025)
First Reading: Acts 1:1-11
Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 47:2-3, 6-7, 8-9
Second Reading: Ephesians 1:17-23
Alleluia: Matthew 28:19a, 20b
Gospel: Luke 24:46-53
Jesus desires that the world may believe in Him through unity and love among His followers. Jesus also asks that we may be with Him, see His glory, and know the love that the Father has for Him—and for us. It is through our relationships—especially in the home and community—that God’s love becomes visible and believable to others.
Unity in the family and community isn’t about perfection; it’s about growing together in love, forgiveness, and mission. When families love each other despite differences, support one another through suffering, and prioritize prayer and presence over busyness, they become living icons of divine love.
