In today's gospel, Jesus invites us to embrace true holiness. Jesus calls for a transformation of the heart and mind, telling us that true holiness and righteousness come from internal purity and love for others, rather than just external observance of rules, attending many activities, and conformity to community norms. May we get enlightenment and inspiration from the life and work of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, our patron saint of discernment and decision making.
This is the 1588th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Israel Silud, Regional Coordinator for East Asia, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
