TOPIC: WHO NEEDS MY KINDNESS TODAY?
First Reading: Leviticus 19: 1-2, 11-18
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 19: 8, 9, 10, 15
Verse Before the Gospel: Second Corinthians 6: 2b
Gospel: Matthew 25: 31-46
In your prayer time today, take a moment to think about the people in your life who seem lost or in need of kindness. Sometimes, the ones we least want to help are actually the ones who need it the most. The "least ones" Jesus talks about are often the people we judge, avoid, or overlook. Now, think of someone you find difficult to be kind to, maybe someone who frustrates you or feels undeserving of love. Remember, Jesus is present in that person, waiting for you to love Him by loving them.
This is the 1782nd installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Eric Villanueva, Mission Head for CFC Europe and the Africa, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
