In today's Gospel, Jesus challenges us to reflect on what we value and how we give. Are our actions motivated by self-interest or by a desire to serve God and others?

Jesus warns against the pride and hypocrisy of religious leaders who seek status and recognition but lack genuine compassion and humility.

Jesus highlights the contrast between their behavior and that of the poor widow, who, despite her poverty, gives all that she has. True generosity is not measured by the amount given but by the heart behind the gift.

This is the 1659th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Israel Silud, Regional Coordinator for East Asia, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
