First Reading: Colossians 1: 24 – 2: 3
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 62: 6-7, 9
Alleluia: John 10: 27
Gospel: Luke 6: 6-11

Today’s gospel in Luke 6:6-11, showed us how on a certain Sabbath Jesus went into the synagogue and taught, and there was a man there whose right hand was withered.

The gospel for today demonstrates Jesus' absolute freedom to do a good deed no matter when or where He is at. Today’s gospel showed Jesus’ condemnation of those who are so preoccupied with adhering to religious customs and laws that they neglect to consider the message of God.

As Christians, everything we do revolves around our love for God. There is never a wrong time to act morally. The proper thing to do can be done at any time. Let us all remember that there is no wrong time to do the right thing.

This is the 1234th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Eric Villanueva, Mission Head for CFC Europe and the Americas, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
