The religious leaders' reaction to Jesus' miracles demonstrates the fear of losing control and the lengths to which people will go to protect their power.
The Gospel challenges us to discern truth from falsehood and to follow the path of faith, even when it is difficult. That the struggle between good and evil, faith and doubt, is an ongoing reality in the world and in our own lives
Today's readings encourage us to pray for discernment, courage, and the strength to follow Jesus's example.
