Today's gospel is a great way to remind us of our beautiful gift of FAITH. Just like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, we have everything that we need all along. Our faith in Jesus will give us the strength that we need to overcome obstacles that would sometimes prompt us to ask for more signs. In our prayer time today, let us ask for the Lord to help us continue to develop our FAITH. It will offer us comfort in times of doubts, and guidance in moments of uncertainties. FAITH will provide us a deep sense of connection to something greater than ourselves, offering hope, purpose, and a pathway to a state of goodness, happiness, joy, and peace that comes with being in friendship with Jesus.
