Topic: What steps can I take today to mend my strained relationships? (12 June 2025 - Only By Grace Reflections)
First Reading: 2 Corinthians 3:15 - 4:1, 3-6

We may be tempted to take the readings lightly, since the greatest demand they seem to make is simply that we do not kill—and most of us have never done that. But Jesus goes beyond that commandment. He wants us to address other ways that can kill like anger, insults, and contempt.
It isn’t enough to avoid murder. We must confront our anger, pursue reconciliation, and value right relations. Asking forgiveness can be humbling, especially when we think we are right.
When the Lord asked us to leave our offering to reconcile, He meant us to do it quickly. For delaying repentance will increase the chances of more consequences.
