TOPIC: IF TODAY I HEAR YOUR VOICE, LORD JESUS, WILL I LISTEN WITH A HUMBLE AND OBEDIENT HEART?

First Reading: Exodus 17: 3-7
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 95: 1-2, 6-7, 8-9
Second Reading: Romans 5: 1-2, 5-8
Verse Before the Gospel: John 4: 42, 15
Gospel: John 4: 5-42

Jesus reached out to a woman who was considered an outcast in her own community. Despite of her past many sins and very bad reputation, Jesus saw her as a beloved child of God, worthy of his undivided attention, love and mercy.

Through their conversation, the Samaritan woman’s eyes were opened to the truth of Jesus message. As we ponder on this story, we are reminded that no one is beyond the reach of God’s love and mercy.

This is the 1066th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Israel Silud for today’s daily reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
