First Reading: Acts 15: 22-31
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 57: 8-9, 10 and 12
Alleluia: John 15: 15b
Gospel: John 15: 12-17

In today’s beautiful Gospel reading, Jesus commands us to love one another as He loved us. Truly a stimulating and electrifying mandate! Jesus is telling us to love unconditionally, without counting the cost, and to “give our all” as He did. After all, He showed us how to love the “unlovable.” He loved the lepers, tax collectors, prostitutes, unbelievers, His adversaries – pharisees and scribes. Indeed a “tall” order! His deep love for us cost His life on the cross. This is an awesome gift He gave to each and everyone. Now, this leads us to the question: are we willing to “die” for one another?

This is the 1124th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Jess Ferrer, Head of the CFC Migrants Program, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
