TOPIC: CAN YOU FIND SATISFACTION IN EVERYTHING THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST?
First Reading: James 1: 12-18

Gospel: Mark 8: 14-21
In our gospel today, when Christ and His disciples were on a boat, His disciples realized that they had forgotten to bring bread. Christ reminded them of the miracles that happened when He broke bread and fed the multitude with just a few loaves and fishes, even collecting baskets full of fragments.
Christ also reminded His disciples not to focus only on things that can satisfy temporary needs, or worldly or body needs, but rather on more lasting things that can satisfy our hearts and souls and will lead us to eternal life with Him in heaven.
This is the 1387th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
