Topic: What am I willing to "tear out" or "cut off" to please the Lord? (13 June 2025 - Only By Grace Reflections)

First Reading: 2 Corinthians 4:7-15
Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 116:10-11, 15-16, 17-18
Alleluia: Philippians 2:15d, 16a
Gospel: Matthew 5:27-32

In Jesus' dialogue with His disciples, Jesus used hyperbole or exaggerated languge to empphasize the lengths one should go to reject sin. It is important for us to completely let go of any attachments or connections that lead us into sin. He encourages us to recognize and let go of anything that may tempt us, even if it means making tough or painful decisions.

This is heartfelt invitation: to prioritize our spiritual well-being over any worldly attachments we might have.
