TOPIC: DO WE BRING GOD'S PRESENCE IN THE CONDUCT OF BROTHERLY CORRECTION IN COMMUNITY?

Households in Couples for Christ is the ultimate microcosm of how Jesus wanted His earthly kingdom to become. At the start of the Christian Life Program, we learned that God is the Good Shepherd who leads the flock by feeding and healing each of its members out of authentic love and commitment. But more than this, we also learned of His willingness to give up everything He has, including His own life, for the sake of His friends.

In today's Gospel reading, Jesus laid down the foundation that should guide His people in the difficult journey to holiness anchored mostly in the principle of Christian correction. It is a process that guarantees His presence among His people but only if the process He laid down is followed faithfully. For this process to work, humility and servanthood must be the bedrock of relationships. Both should also be upheld in the context of the CFC household and the Church community.
