TOPIC: HOW DO WE IMITATE MAMA MARY'S JOYFUL "YES" TO GOD?

Gospel: Luke 1: 39-56

In Mama Mary's Magnificat, she teaches us how to offer a jovful "ves" to God even when we do not understand all He is doing, and how to praise God for all that happens in our lives. Mama Mary shows us how to acknowledge that we are beneficiaries of God's blessings even in trying times. If we cooperate and trust God's will for us, as she did every difficult step of the way, then we will continue to experience God's constant love until the time we will be led to be with our Lord in Heaven as she was.

On this glorious Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, let us follow her as our example and guide that we too, may enter into the blessedness prepared for those who believe that what the Lord has said will truly be fulfilled. May Mama Mary's "yes" also inspire us to live our life as true disciples of our Lord Jesus and despite all the trials and crosses we bear, we have great hope for eternal life. My dear brothers and sisters, let us remain humble and submissive to God's will and plan for our lives and surely, like Mama Mary, we will enjoy peace and eternal happiness in the life to come.
