As we are taken, blessed, and broken, we then order our life as a way to be given to one another. This may take the form of giving our time and attention to others, dropping everything and sitting with a sick or grieving friend, listening when someone needs to talk, breaking bread together, or simply offering a smile. Fr. Nouwen said that our brokenness opens us to a deeper way of sharing our lives and offering hope to others.
This is the 1757th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Solphie Confiado, Country Coordinator for CFC Egypt, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
