Today, Jesus reminds us of the dangers and the consequences of looking back and not setting our sights on our one true goal. Like Lot's wife, we shouldn't look back with regret as we leave behind our sinful past and worldly ways, for doing so will only bring us destruction. Instead, we should separate ourselves for God's exclusive use as we wholeheartedly and joyfully prepare for the coming of the Lord's big day.
