TOPIC: WILL YOU STILL SAY, "JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU" WHEN EVERYTHNG SEEMS A MESS AND HOPELESS?

First Reading: Acts 2: 42-47
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 118: 2-4, 13-15, 22-24
Second Reading: First Peter 1: 3-9
Alleluia: John 20: 29
Gospel: John 20: 19-31

On the evening of the first day of the week (Sunday), the disciples were gathered in a room with locked doors, fearful of the authorities. Jesus suddenly appeared among them, greeting them with the words “Peace be with you.”

Jesus showed them his hands and side, revealing the wounds from his crucifixion, and the disciples rejoiced as they recognized Jesus as their risen Lord.

Our Lord Jesus is inviting us to trust Him 100%. To say “Jesus, I trust in You” even when everything seems a mess and hopeless, to always remember Jesus’ love and inconceivable mercy for all of us.

This is the 1099th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Israel Silud as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
