TOPIC: THE LORD WANTS TO HEAL ME, BUT CAN I TRUST GOD WITH HOW HE WANTS TO HEAL ME?

First Reading: Hebrews 3: 7-14
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 95: 6-7c, 8-9, 10-11
Alleluia: Matthew 4: 23
Gospel: Mark 1: 40-45

Only Jesus can make us clean, and He wishes that we be healed of both sin and brokenness. We need to be humble to come to Him, for it is not in this world that we can find hope. Our whole life ⏤ our health, our family, our career, especially our eternal life ⏤ depends on one Person. Only in Jesus can we be made clean. Let us not be discouraged for He knows what we go through. He Himself desires that we be made clean. Humility and repentance are our part, while forgiveness belongs to God. Cleansing is a necessary step for God to bless an unworthy soul. Then can we bring to God our seemingly hopeless situation and claim His desire for us to "BE CLEANSED". In waiting, let us continue to worship and serve God. We do this not because of what He can do to us but for who He is ⏤ our God and our Healer. We worship Him in good times and in bad. In these, God melts and blesses. "Whoever possesses the Son has life." How beautiful it is to live a clean and worthy life.
