First Reading: Jeremiah 23: 5-8
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 72: 1-2, 12-13, 18-19
Gospel: Matthew 1: 18-25

Today's passage holds profound lessons on OBEDIENCE, and embracing God's will even when it defies human understanding. Joseph's unwavering faith in God's guidance, despite public expectations and the uncertainties he faced, demonstrated an incredible example of TRUST. Today’s gospel serves as a testament to the significance of OBEDIENCE and openness to God's direction, and the crucial role Joseph played in the fulfillment of God's redemptive plan through the birth of Jesus Christ.

God invites us to examine our hearts, our motives, and our actions. He challenges us to let go of our ego, our selfish desires, and our need for control, opening ourselves to the divine will that surpasses our limited understanding.

This is the 1333rd installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Eric Villanueva, Mission Head for CFC Europe and the Americas, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
