Today’s gospel, Mathew 9:36-10:8, invites us to be compassionate Just like Jesus, who recognized the struggles and spiritual needs of the people. Jesus invites us to have a heart that overflows with empathy, so strong that it moves us to action to the point of even risking of losing our own lives for the good of the others.
