TOPIC: ARE YOU READY TO LET GO?

First Reading: Ezekiel 24: 15-23
Responsorial Psalm: Deuteronomy 32: 18-19, 20, 21
Alleluia: Matthew 5: 3
Gospel: Matthew 19: 16-22

Today, it might be good to ask ourselves: What would be most difficult to LET GO of, if Jesus asked us to do so? Whatever it is, it could be something or someone that can come between us and our total commitment to follow Jesus.

Deciding to follow Christ is not difficult; it could be pretty simple. However, taking the first step of LETTING GO can be the most difficult. Today, in our prayer time, let us ask for the strength to be ready and, if called to, LET GO. Once we are able to do that, we will gain a life where no worldly anxiety, fear, nor guilt can hinder us from truly finding peace, joy, and fulfillment in Christ.

This is the 1575th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Eric Villanueva, Mission Head for CFC Europe and the Americas, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
