TOPIC: DO I TRULY PRACTICE WHAT I PREACH?
First Reading: Ephesians 1: 15-23
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 8: 2-3ab, 4-5, 6-7
Alleluia: John 15: 26a, 27a
Gospel: Luke 12: 8-12
In this Gospel narrative, our Lord Jesus exhorts His disciples to be courageous in bearing witness to Him. He promises to send His Holy Spirit to guide and to teach them what to say and do when called on to proclaim His Gospel. Declaring ourselves for the Lord in the presence of others can be difficult because we live in a world which is often hostile to our Catholic faith. We can easily be intimidated into silence and invisibility.
This is the 1637th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Solphie Confiado, Country Coordinator for CFC Egypt, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
