TOPIC: IS OUR HOPE IN THIS PRESENT LIFE ONLY?

Our Lord Jesus Christ gives us His Holy Spirit so we can grow in our faith. He is our teacher and our guide who makes our faith come alive. Saint Augustine of Hippo said we must nourish our faith with the Word of God. He said: I believe, in order to understand; and I understand, the better to believe. Jesus promises that those who accept Him as their Lord and Savior and submit to His word will be raised up to everlasting life with Him when He comes again at the close of this age.
This is the 1651st installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
