TOPIC: ARE WE OBSERVANT SERVANTS?

First Reading: Revelation 4: 1-11
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 150: 1b-2, 3-4, 5-6
Alleluia: John 15: 16
Gospel: Luke 19: 11-28

Brothers and sisters, we can only trust that the Master means what he says, and trust in His promise. If the Master says, he will return, he will return! If the Master says "go, use whatever I have given you," we must oblige. He will be delighted with our obedience.

Remember brothers and sisters that the Gospel did not just mention three servants. It mentioned ten. "He called ten of his servants and gave them ten gold coins and told them, 'Engage in trade with these until I return.'

We belong to the remaining seven servants. We are yet to account to the Master on His return. For this, we can only pray that we receive the grace to be observant servants.

This is the 1669th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Arnel Santos, a member of the CFC Board of Elders and Mission Head for Asia, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
