TOPIC: LORD JESUS, HOW AND WHEN DO I CHOOSE REST OVER ACTIVITY, PRAYER-CONTEMPLATION OVER ACTION?

First Reading: Jeremiah 23: 1-6
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 23: 1-3, 3-4, 5, 6
Second Reading: Ephesians 2: 13-18
Alleluia: John 10: 27
Gospel: Mark 6: 30-34

In today’s gospel, Jesus invites his apostles to rest, pray, contemplate in solitude in a deserted place. May God grant us the grace to have the desire and discipline to rest, pray, and contemplate in solitude, to be embraced, guided, and empowered by your holy presence every day.

This is the 1546th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Israel Silud, Regional Coordinator for East Asia, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
