TOPIC: HAVE I BEEN A GOOD TENANT IN THE LORD’S VINEYARD?
First Reading: Genesis 37: 3-4, 12-13a, 17b-28
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 105: 16-17, 18-19, 20-21
Verse Before the Gospel: John 3: 16
Gospel: Matthew 21: 33-43, 45-46
Brothers and sisters, today let us reflect on how good of a tenant we have been to the Lord. Do we give Him back the fruits of His vineyard? Are we obedient to His instructions on how to cultivate our daily living? Do we seek His advice on how to have a bountiful production? The Lord calls each of us to diligently tend our own vineyard, so that when He finally calls us home, we can only serve Him the best wine in the house.
This is the 1791st installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Harris Jacildo, Sector Leader of CFC Metro Manila South B, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
