TOPIC: WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF IN YOUR LIFE?
First Reading: Acts 6: 1-7
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 33: 1-2, 4-5, 18-19
Gospel: John 6: 16-21
The Gospel talks about having faith in Jesus even in somewhat hopeless times. It was so hard for the apostles to believe that it was Jesus, though He assured them that it was He. It may seem impossible to see Christ in moments of chaos. But if we believe, we will be led to the right way even if we fail to realize it at first. Though we fail our tests, Jesus tells us that we can still learn from them. Today, we are invited to pray and see Jesus even in difficult times. We just have to have faith in Him and never doubt His plans.
This is the 1105th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Solphie Confiado as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
