Topic: What area of my life—personal, marital, or familial—do I feel is lacking or empty? How is God inviting me to surrender it to Him so He can multiply His grace in it? (22 June 2025 - Only By Grace Reflections)
First Reading: Genesis 14:18-20
Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 110:1, 2, 3, 4
Second Reading: 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
Alleluia: John 6:51
Gospel: Luke 9:11b-17
The Miracle of Multiplication of Loaves and Fish is not just about physical hunger. It is a foretaste of the Eucharist—a sacred meal where Jesus gives not just bread, but His very self. He doesn't give us just enough. He satisfies. He overflows. He heals. He multiplies what little we offer, if we dare to trust and surrender it.
Many of us live in “deserted places,” feeling there is not enough: not enough time, not enough peace, not enough love in our marriages or joy in our families. But today’s Gospel reminds us: When we give what we have to Jesus, He blesses it, breaks it, and multiplies it.
