Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 85: 9ab-10, 11-12, 13-14
Alleluia: Luke 21: 36
Gospel: Luke 12: 35-38

In our Gospel today, our Lord Jesus Christ reminded His disciples to be like vigilant servants ready for the coming of their master. Vigilance means being present, aware of what is happening, anticipating what could happen, and looking forward to something.

As God's servants, we ought to do the same ⏤ to be present to His Presence, to be aware of His message and of what He is doing, to anticipate His power and faithfulness, to look forward to what He will do and to His directions. As His servants, we should not miss anything that comes from Him!

This is the 1640th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Lawrence Quintero, a member of the CFC International Council, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
