TOPIC: SOME PEOPLE CRINGE AT THE SIGHT OF PEOPLE FOLLOWING THE BLACK NAZARENE, BUT DO I HAVE THE SAME LONGING FOR GOD?

Those who followed Jesus in His time and those who followed the image of the Black Nazarene recognize a High Priest who would offer their desperate aspirations to God—for there is no better Mediator than Jesus.
If we cannot touch the image with our hands, we can certainly touch God with our prayers. Yet, many prayers are wasted because we cannot wait. Hence, it is without depth. We cannot even approach the throne. If there’s anything we can envy in those who follow Jesus, it’s their desperate need for help and for God. We may not have a desperate need for help, but there should always be a desperate need for God; for without Him, we can do nothing. Our need for God should be like our need for air so that we can breathe and survive.
