Gospel: Luke 13: 1-9
Just as Jesus calls us to personal repentance, families must also seek healing and renewal.
Are there unresolved conflicts in our family? Do we need to ask for forgiveness or to give it? Are we growing together in faith, or are we stagnant like the barren fig tree? Are we patient with each other’s growth? Or do we expect perfection right away? What habit can we start today to make our family life more Christ-centered?
May the life story of Venerable Alfredo Obviar inspire us to live with faith, teach our families, and grow in love for God and service to others.
This is the 1793rd installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Israel Silud, Regional Coordinator of East Asia, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
