TOPIC: WILL I STAND BY JESUS WHEN TEMPTED?

Procession: Mark 11: 1-10 or John 12: 12-16
First Reading: Isaiah 50: 4-7
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 22: 8-9, 17-18, 19-20, 23-24
Second Reading: Philippians 2: 6-11
Verse Before the Gospel: Philippians 2: 8-9
Gospel: Mark 14: 1 – 15: 47

Today’s gospel recounts Jesus’ journey to His crucifixion and death. It begins with the plot against Jesus by the religious leaders, leading to his betrayal by Judas Iscariot. Jesus is arrested, tried, and sentenced to death by crucifixion, fulfilling the prophecy and serving as the ultimate sacrifice for humanity’s sins.

The gospel invites us to stand by Jesus in our toughest times, resisting temptations.

This is the 1427th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Israel Silud, Regional Coordinator for East Asia, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
