The world's hatred of the disciples stems from their rejection of worldly values like materialism, greed, and competitiveness, which are often at odds with Christian principles.
In today's Gospel, Jesus encourages His disciples to abide in Him, drawing strength and fruitfulness from their connection with Him. This connection allows them to endure persecution and persevere in their faith.
