TOPIC: HOW FAR CAN I TRUST IN THE LORD WHEN TRIBULATIONS COME?

First Reading: Revelation 14: 14-19
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 96: 10, 11-12, 13
Alleluia: Revelation 2: 10c
Gospel: Luke 21: 5-11

In our Gospel today, our Lord Jesus Christ tells His disciples that there may be people who will come full of deceit, saying that they come in the name of God. There will also be tribulations, famine, and war that will happen, but we should not be terrified!

Pope Francis shares, "Even in the darkest moments, in the times of sin, in the times of fragility, in the times of failure, I looked to Jesus and I trusted Him and He did not abandon me. He is a faithful companion." Let us trust that God will always be with us no matter what, until the end of time.

This is the 1675th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Lawrence Quintero, a member of the CFC International Council, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
