TOPIC: IN WHAT ASPECTS OF FAITH DO YOU STILL NEED TO GROW IN PRACTICING WHAT YOU PREACH?

As followers of Christ, our goal is to serve Him with all that we have and imitate Him in all the we do. He is our inspiration and model of how it is to serve. However, as we go along the way in service, there are times when become to familiar and too comfortable in our service or mission activities, and there are times when we even become complacent in what we do.
Pope Francis reminds us, “Let us not forget: if we are to preach the gospel of Jesus, our lives must bear witness to what we preach.”. Let us strive to live out the love and mercy that we receive everyday from our God. There may be moments when living out God’s message will be difficult due to various challenges that we face in the world around us, but by His grace and mercy, we will be strengthened if we continue to abide in His Presence.
This is the 1401st installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
