TOPIC: WHERE DID OPPRESSION, PERSECUTION, AND SUFFERING LEAD ME?

First Reading: Revelation 15: 1-4
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 98: 1, 2-3ab, 7-8, 9
Alleluia: Revelation 2: 10c
Gospel: Luke 21: 12-19

And so every time we encounter similar interruptions and disruptions, God gives us the grace to look back at what we have learned: in oppression and persecution, in moments of suffering ⏤ be they personal or in family or in community ⏤ we turn to the Word of God, we gaze at and are awed by His Goodness, and we behold God's beauty.

Oppression, persecution, suffering should not lead us astray. Instead, they should move us to give our testimony, our testimony about our God who lived and walked with us, died on the Cross for us, and led us to victory.

This is the 1676th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Arnel Santos, a member of the CFC Board of Elders and Mission Head for Asia, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
