TOPIC: AM I AN AUTHENTIC FRIEND TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST?
First Reading: Second Thessalonians 3: 6-10, 16-18

Gospel: Matthew 23: 27-32
What does God want for us? He wants us to be nurtured with inner truth flowing from a grace-filled friendship with Him. He is calling us to a life that is deeply rooted in Him, fortified with courage and integrity. In other words, He wants us to make Him our priority, ready to give up anything that will interfere with our friendship with Him.
Like Blessed Carlo Acutis, may we constantly resolve to seek the grace of His friendship and to build upon it the confidence to call on His name, especially in those moments that we are tempted to give in to hypocrisy and dishonesty.
This is the 1584th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
